Holiday Hats for Pets: Best Hats for Dogs & Cats

Updated on December 18, 2010

Don't Forget a Holiday Hat for Your Pet

Too often in the hustle and bustle of Holiday spirit we forget to tend after our best friends and their outfit for Christmas. As someone who has 4 dogs in the house I know what its like to sometimes forget that they're there until one day you sit down and tell yourself "Oh darn it, I was supposed to......with Lassy today". You fill in the blank. I've compiled here a list of all the top outfits and hats for your pet, so that this year when you go out shopping or traveling, you're pet will feel just as dressed up as you. Whether it's a cat or a dog, there are custom made hats for both and they will look simply adorable once you've got them dressed up.

Dogs Hats: Man's Best Friend Comes First

Sorry all you Cat Lovers, but first in man's heart and first on this list is the selection of dogs holiday hats. Perfect for Christmas, New Years, even Thankgiving parties, the choices below are great for dogs big and small. With a cute little hat on, your dog will be the life of the party, and get more attention than is probably good for him.

I mean just take a look at the pictures, they're cuter then a box of chocolates with those little caps on, could you resist them?

Cats Hats: Best Holiday Headpieces for Your Cat

Poor dogs. What would they have to do if not bark at cats? While they might not get along sometimes, everyone has to respect the peace of Christmas Antler Horns. Never heard of that? Apparently when you put antler horns on your pets, they stop fighting each other and form an alliance against YOU. Could be helpful to know if you've got Cat/Dog issues at home.

Anyway....Here are some of the top Christmas/Holiday hats available to Cat owners. I have to say that there aren't very many available, which might mean you have to get a small dog one for your feline friend. (Shhhhh....don't let her know.)

Holiday Costumes: Go All Out This Christmas!

You have the hat, you have the antlers, why don't you just dive in and get your pet the entire outfit! Sure it will be like dressing up a doll, and you might be called girlie, (if you're a guy), or girlie, (if your a girl), but won't it be worth it to see your little baby sitting there in all their dress up finery? I think so. Check out the outfits available online, and feel free to add your own if you find a better one, so that other Christmas enthusiasts can enjoy it as well.

Knitted Hats for Dogs: Hand made for Your Pet.

Give Your Pet a warm feeling of love.

Nothing says I love you like a hand made hat, knitted for hours with the soul purpose of keeping You warm. Now admittedly your dog might not realize all that work that was put into the hat he's trying to rub off, but everyone else will know. Get a hand knit hat for your holiday outfit for your pet, and everyone will see the effort you put into making it cute.

I've made a list which everyone can add to, if you make hand knit hats or know someone who does, add it to the list below!
